Stuff we need for winter show submission:

Project Description*

For the show website and your project wall text (300 words max).

Our project is an exploration to using technology for cosmetics. Neo-patch is a jacket with LEDs fixed on top, these LEDs are controlled by an RFID reader at the right breast pocket. With a series of different patches with varying illustrations and unique NFC/RFID chips attached to them, the user can change the lighting effect by snapping on the different patches.

What is your project about?*

Sum up your project in one powerful, concise sentence (60 words max)

Modular cosmetics to control lighting in wearables.

What does your project do technically?*

Our project uses an RFID/NFC reader to look at information stored on patches to configure lighting on the jacket.

How will people engage with your project?*

People can try on the jacket and attach different patches to change the light effects.

**How do you want to present your project? Provide us with a to-scale diagram. ***

We would like a mannequin and a small table, preferably one from the small conference room from the floor (450). People can affix the patches on the mannequin or choose to try it on and wear it themselves.

We would also like a darker area for our project to be displayed in, to create more contrast with the lights.

In-person view. Order of table and jacket doesn’t matter too much to us.

We will try our best to accommodate your specific design. Although there are no guarantees, the more specific you are the more likely it is we will be able to give you something approximating your heart's desire.
